Abstract

Police is one of the functions of state administration. Role of the Police
who deal directly with the public led the case of abuse of authority in receipt of
prospective members of the Indonesian National Police, and is also a criminal
offense embezzlement cases that occurred in the State Police School Navan.
The method used in this study using prescriptive research specifications,
as well as by using a normative juridical approach. The conclusion of the study is
the rule of law and discipline of the members of the police who commit
disciplinary offenses stipulated in Government Regulation No. 2 of 2003 on Police
Discipline Regulations. Disciplinary sanctions for police officers who commit
fraud was dishonorably discharged, in accordance with Article 11 of Government
Regulation No. 1 of 2003 on Termination Police. Efforts must be made by SPN
Purwokerto in creating a disciplined member of the Police which can be a
preventive effort that works to prevent violations of discipline and repressive
efforts undertaken in accordance settlement procedure disciplinary offense which
has been committed by members of the Indonesian National Police.
